About Me

My name is Renee (pronounced Ree-Knee) Silverman, and I am a licensed and bonded Notary Public in the State of Florida, one of only three states in the USA that authorizes Notary Publics to perform marriage ceremonies.

Over the last 35-plus years, I’ve officiated at hundreds of wedding ceremonies, from the very small, to the medium, to the large and extravagant — many types of ceremonies, at many different locations — and every one of them has been unique and special!  No matter what the size or style, a wedding is a celebration of love and commitment, and a joyous occasion.  I love what I do, and it shows!

As a Notary, I am not an ordained minister, so I do not perform religious ceremonies; however, I am happy to work with you on anything you’d like to use in your ceremony that has meaning to you.  Many ceremonies where I’ve officiated have had readings, vows, or other references that have made the ceremony spiritually meaningful to the couple and guests.

It would be an honor to be a part of your wedding day, and to work with you on a ceremony that will be memorable and meaningful as you begin your new life together as a married couple.  My belief is that your wedding ceremony should be about the two of you, and individualized to your choices — I learn about who the two of you are, listen to what you want said, and then weave it into your one-of-a-kind, memorable ceremony!
